The OSSP is a multi-stakeholder collaboration which targets vulnerable groups such as the aged living alone, disabled persons, and other socially and economically disadvantaged families within the Obontser community. The programme is meant to assist these beneficiaries with essential social services to enable them to also participate in gainful economic and fulfilling community activities. Some of the social services and support to be provided under OSSP include healthcare services and regular medical check-ups, nutrition support, including meals or food assistance programmes, mental health support and counselling services, financial assistance and social welfare support, home-based care and assistance with daily activities and other social activities and community engagement programmes meant to ultimately reduce the vulnerabilities of the beneficiaries  within the Obontser community.
