The Obontserman Youth Association (OYA), which has “Character Is Destiny!” as its slogan, is the fulcrum around which the future of the Obontser Community is being developed. OYA members consist of singles between the ages of 20 and 35 years who seek to work together to transform the character, enhance employable skills and foster personal development of all young individuals of Obontser ancestry. OYA focuses on entrepreneurship training, business development, skills-building and character training, mentorship, community engagement and other personal development activities to empower its members to become confident, responsible, and deployable and employable members of society.
