MEMBERSHIP
The qualifications for general membership, associate membership and honorary membership in the EOCDF may vary from time to time based on the foundation's by-laws, policies and guidelines adopted by our stakeholders - Board of Trustees / Management / Patrons / Partners / Sponsors / Members.
GENERAL MEMBERSHIP
A. Eligibility
The general membership in the EOCDF is open to all individuals of Obontserman’s ancestry 18 years and above, and for organizations or associations within the community served by the foundation.
B. Qualifications
Qualifications for general membership where applicable may include Obontserman’s family/gate representation, residency within the community, an interest in supporting the EOCDF's mission and programmes/projects, and payment of any required membership dues or fees as may be determined by the Foundation through its Board of Trustees/Patrons/Management/Members.
C. Rights and Privileges
General members shall have voting rights and may participate in the foundation's governance by electing Board of Trustees, attending annual meetings, and contributing to the foundation's initiatives where and when applicable.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
A. Eligibility
Associate membership of EOCDF may be offered to individuals or organizations across the world that do not meet the criteria for general membership but still wish to be affiliated with the foundation.
B. Qualifications
The qualifications for the associate membership in EOCDF can vary widely and shall be determined by the Foundation’s bylaws from time to time. The qualifications shall include but not limited to the showing of demonstrable interest in and commitment to the foundation's mission or a willingness to support its activities and programmes.
C. Rights and Privileges
Associate members may have limited or no voting rights, but they may be granted access to EOCDF’s events, programs, or resources as deemed fit by the Board of Trustees.
HONORARY MEMBERSHIP
A. Eligibility
EOCDF confers honorary membership upon certain individuals or organizations across the world in recognition of their exceptional contributions, support or service to the foundation.
B. Qualifications
The qualifications for honorary membership shall be determined by the foundation's Board of Trustees/Patrons/management and may include criteria such as outstanding philanthropic efforts, advocacy for the foundation's mission, or significant contributions to the community.
C. Rights and Privileges
Honorary members may receive special recognition within the EOCDF, but their rights and privileges may vary at the discretion of the Board of Trustees/Patrons/General Leadership of the Foundation. Honorary Members may be invited to EOCDF’s events and recognized for their contributions, but they may not have voting rights or formal governance responsibilities.
