Training & Support Programme
The ASCETS Programme is designed to provide education, training, and resources to individuals, groups, or organizations to build sustainable and successful careers and initiatives within the arts, sports, culture, and entertainment sectors or segments of the Obontser community. ASCETS aims to support and nurture talent, creativity, and skill development within these fields, fostering personal and professional growth while contributing to the overall enrichment of the cultural and entertainment part of Obontserman and beyond.
Components and Features
Training and Workshops
ASCETS offers a variety of training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance the skills, knowledge, and expertise of individuals and groups involved in arts, sports, culture, and entertainment industries. These sessions might cover areas such as artistic techniques, sports training, event management, marketing, and more.
Business Skills Development
ASCETS seeks out entrepreneurs and creative professionals in these industries who require business skills to effectively manage their ventures. The programme could provide guidance on business planning, financial management, contract negotiation, and intellectual property rights.
Mentorship and Coaching
ASCETS will introduce experienced mentors and industry experts to provide guidance and advice to the programme’s beneficiaries, helping them navigate challenges and make informed decisions as they pursue their creative and cultural goals.
Funding and Grants
EOCDF under this programme, will offer financial support in the form of grants, seed funding, or sponsorships to help artists, athletes, event organizers, and other cultural initiatives secure the resources they need to launch or expand their projects.
Networking Opportunities
ASCETS will facilitate networking events, conferences, and gatherings that allow participants to connect with peers, potential collaborators, sponsors, and industry professionals.
Facilities and Resources
EOCDF under the ASCETS programme will help build, acquire or make available access to specialized facilities, equipment, and resources to provide support for creative work, training, and performance needs of beneficiaries.
Event Management Support
The ASCETS programme will offer guidance on event planning, logistics, marketing, and audience engagement for beneficiaries involved in organizing events.
Promotion and Exposure
ASCETS will help beneficiaries to showcase their work, performances, or events to a wider audience beyond Central Region and Ghana through promotion, publicity, and marketing initiatives.

ASCETS will ultimately help to preserve and promote local cultures, traditions, and heritage through various creative and cultural activities.
